Job Description & Requirements:
Advertising Coordinator position supports the multimedia sales team at The Enid News Eagle. Working within a fast paced environment, partnering with print and online sales on integrated programs. Knowledge of Microsoft applications is essential. Strong interpersonal skills also a must. Attention to detail and strong written and communication skills required. Proven ability to work well within a team environment while accomplishing individual projects.
Prepare pagination of daily product and all special sections in print/electronic publications; produce in-house advertising for individual events; coordinate and execute direct mailings; deliver a high level of customer service to customers; prepare research and reporting documents in support of sale staff.
Requirements & Qualifications:
Ability to be productive in a fast paced environment while handling multiple priorities and meeting deadlines; proficiency with MS Word, Excel or equivalent; QuarkXpress, Photoshop, InDesign and/or Macintosh experience a plus; accurate typing skills, minimum 60 wpm; effective and excellent interpersonal and communication skills; attention to detail, dependability, flexibility, and ability to function as part of a team required; experience in a production environment (i.e., publishing, ad agency, etc.) a plus.
