With a staff of approximately 20, the Express Star serves the county seat and half dozen Grady County communities and school districts as the daily newspaper of record and of long-standing trust. In addition, our team produces a free-standing newspaper for neighboring Tuttle, OK. Our newspaper is produced in Norman, OK and distributed same day through the USPS allowing for our team to concentrate on serving the needs of our readers, our advertisers and our community.
We need a leader to be involved in driving revenue, developing new products and improving existing products and processes in addition to extensive work in the community. Ideal candidate will have experience managing newspaper departments.
Chickasha is home to University of Science & Arts, Oklahoma’s nationally ranked public liberal arts college and each year the community celebrates the ‘Festival of Light’ in one of the local parks—one of the largest holiday celebrations in Oklahoma.
