Services for Steve Bolton

Steve Bolton, publisher of The Comanche Times, died Oct. 15, 2018. He was 59.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, October 22nd, at the Comanche High School Gymnasium, 1030 Ash Ave., Comanche, Oklahoma.
The family will be receiving friends on Sunday afternoon, October 21st, from 2:00-4:00 at the Comanche Funeral Home.
Bolton was born November 3, 1958, in Marlow. He was a 1977 graduate of Marlow High School and attended Oklahoma State University.
In 1992, Bolton purchased The Comanche Times newspaper. He was the biggest and most vocal supporter of Comanche and proudly told everyone that Comanche was his adopted hometown.
He and Kelli were married on July 28, 2000, in Fort Worth, Texas. From that day forward, they were rarely apart.
Bolton was a member of the Duncan Jaycees, served on the national steering committee of the March of Dimes, and was active in the Comanche Chamber of Commerce. He also was the former chairman of the Stephens County Democratic Party and was an active member of Providence Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife Kelli, of the home; children Ben Graham and wife Holly of Fate, Texas; Veronica Graham and Brandon LeJeune of Lawton; Zach Bolton and Jonathan Bolton of Georgia; and one grandson, Cole Bennett LeJeune.
